U.S. Elevator
In the winter of 2011 Miss Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion traveled west from their forest home in Massachusetts to the metropolis of San Francisco. They met up with the Rondo Brothers who sometimes prefer drum machines to banjos and other times use banjos as drum machines. Miss Guthrie and Mr Irion lent their voices and musical talents to a small batch of songs in collaborative form and a wonderful new sound was born. East Meets West. Blueberry Mountain touched down on Potrero Hill. Beat-Folk has never sounded so good. Take the journey of All Through The Night and let yourself wander through the city streets covered by old growth New England foliage. Two singles, "Never Said Nothing" and "All Through the Night", will be released on Valentine's Day, 2012.
